Screen Shots

I think Pac‑Man is one of the best arcade adaptations for the Intellivision. Some people complain vocally about the control of Pac-Man, but I must say that I haven't found it too annoying. The sound effects are excellent, and the graphics are pretty faithful to the arcade game. Even the prizes are well-rendered. I was especially happy to see the intermissions. I haven't gotten too far into the game yet to see how many there are. Best Score: 66790

So far, I've gotten the following prizes:

Cherry, Strawberry [Intermission #1], Peach, Peach, Apple, Apple [Intermission #2], Pineapple, Pineapple, Bell, Bell, Bell

ROM Two ROM variations exist.
Box So far, four variations have been found.
Manual Two variants have been identified.
Overlays Custom overlays have been designed and distributed by Psycho Stormtrooper.
Label To date, four labels have been recorded.
Easter Eggs No known Easter eggs exist, but a bug does that's a quasi-Easter egg.

A total of four Pac-Man box variants have been documented.

Image Vendor Part Number Year Origin Description
Pac-Man Box (Atarisoft CO24197-51 REV. A) Atarisoft CO24197-51 REV. A 1983 U.S.A. Has UPC barcode on bottom; common part number 70251 on spine; main part number is hidden on small flap on bottom, with manufacture date on other (discovered on a mashed box)
Pac-Man Box (INTV Corporation 8000) INTV Corporation 8000 1982 U.S.A. Does NOT have 'FOR 1 OR 2 PLAYERS' on front of box; no UPC bar code; game title on bottom flap—title is upright when box lays face-up
Pac-Man Box (INTV Corporation 8000) INTV Corporation 8000 1982 U.S.A. Has 'FOR 1 OR 2 PLAYERS' on front of box; no UPC bar code; game title on bottom flap—title is upright when box lays face-up
Image not available. INTV Corporation 8000 1982 U.S.A. Has 'FOR 1 OR 2 PLAYERS' on front of box; UPC bar code, but no game title on bottom flap

The two box variants by INTV for Pac-Man vary not only in the presence of the 'FOR 1 OR 2 PLAYERS' text on the front of the box, but also by what's displayed on the bottom flap of the box. Some copies of the 'FOR 1 OR 2 PLAYERS' version have the UPC symbol on the bottom flap. Otherwise, the boxes just have 'PAC-MAN' on the bottom.

The UPC barcode appears on the bottom flap of the box, game title has been removed

As described on the official site, the INTV Corporation re-release of Pac-Man also included a change to the ROM. The change just removed the Atarisoft logo from the game - and hence removed the bug / Easter egg, too.

The result of the tinkered ROM is this title screen:
